Meet Magento India 2025: A Journey of Innovation, Networking and Magento Spirit

Every year, Meet Magento events take place across the globe, and in India, we bring the magic to life with Meet Magento India. This year’s event was especially exciting as it marked our first-ever Meet Magento India in Pune on 24th- 25th January 2025.

Join us as we relive the energy, insights, and unforgettable moments of this extraordinary event!

As one of the organizers, we are based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, while the event was held in Pune. Our entire team travelled there, covering a 10-hour journey to make it in time for the big day. Despite the long trip, our team showed incredible dedication, after freshening up and having breakfast, jumped straight into organizing the event without missing a beat.

Day 1 – 24th January: A Day of Networking and Connections

The first day was all about the expo and networking. Registration opened at 2 PM, marking the official start of Meet Magento India 2025. The expo hall was filled with attendees engaging in meaningful conversations. The energy of the Magento community was truly inspiring!

The evening wrapped up with an exclusive after-party for speakers, sponsors, and selected partners, sponsored by Vatsal Shah. It was a great way to relax, connect, and reflect on the day.

Day 2 – 25th January: A Day of Inspiration and Magento Spirit

The second day started early at 8 AM with registration for those who missed Day 1. Everyone enjoyed a delicious Pune-style breakfast before the event began.

A Grand Inauguration

India is known for its rich traditions, and we brought that spirit to Meet Magento India! The event started with energetic beats of the Dhol, and everyone joined in with energetic dance moves. The inauguration ceremony was led by JP Singh, following the Indian tradition of lighting a diya.

J.P. Singh’s opening statement, “If we prioritize quality, merchants will have no reason to re-platform,” resonated with everyone in the room. It was a powerful reminder of how Magento’s commitment to quality ensures its long-term success.

Vijay Golani and Anand P Gera warmly welcomed the audience, with Vijay emphasizing, “The heart of Magento lies in its people.” Their inspiring words set the tone for a day filled with innovation, collaboration, and the true Magento spirit.

Inspiring Keynotes & Sessions 

We had insightful sessions from some of the brightest minds in the Magento ecosystem:

🔹 Vatsal Shah delivered a thought-provoking keynote,” Commerce Beyond Code, “urging the community to look beyond the technical aspects and focus on the bigger picture of e-commerce success.

Community Wall & Special Recognitions

A special highlight was the Magento Community Wall, where attendees shared their thoughts, drawings, and messages, showcasing their love for Magento.

We were also honoured to recognize women in Magento with a special appreciation and a photo session for women in tech.

All Magento Association members gathered on stage for a group photo, and Vijay Golani encouraged more members to join, saying, “Next time, we want a bigger photo—with more people”

Lunch & Pune-Style Cuisine

Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch with a mix of Indian spices and traditional Pune-style cuisine, which added a local touch to the event. The meal was a perfect way to fuel up before diving into more exciting sessions and networking opportunities.
